FlashForward Casting Spoilers - Paula Newsome

Some latest FlashForward casting spoilers from EW.

After blacking out face-first into my tofu pot pie, I’ve returned from lunch with a glimpse of future casting news for FlashForward. It’s all a bit hazy — I can neither confirm nor deny that alcohol was involved — but it looks like actress Paula Newsome of Women’s Murder Club fame will be joining the forward-leaning thriller for a few episodes in the not-so-distant future.

Newsome will play a doctor (maybe a certain unwillingly pregnant agent’s OB/GYN?) for an arc that will likely begin airing in early 2010. Sadly, 137 seconds wasn’t long enough for me to bring back any juicy spoilers, but I’m still trying to put all the pieces together. So stay tuned…

A TIP LEADS MARK TO THE TATTOOED ASSASSIN SEEN IN HIS FLASHFORWARD, SIMON AND LLOYD SETTLE A CONFLICT OVER A GAME OF POKER, AND AARON DISCOVERS THE TRUTH ABOUT HIS DAUGHTER’S DEADLY ACCIDENT

Mark cuts his romantic getaway with Olivia short when a tip leads to the discovery of the tattooed assassin seen in his flashforward, Simon and Lloyd settle a debate over a game of poker, Aaron learns the truth about daughter Tracy’s deadly accident, and Janis returns to work but debates her future with the department.

“The Gift” – Mark, Demetri, Gough and MI6 agent Fiona Banks (Alex Kingston, “ER”) investigate a Blue Hand club and its possible connection to some recent suicides. Meanwhile, Aaron receives a surprise visit from a former army buddy of his late daughter’s, Demetri comes clean with Zoey (Gabrielle Union) about his lack of a flashforward, and Nicole helps Bryce uncover the mystery of his flashforward while volunteering at the hospital, on “FlashForward,” THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

David Goyer has provided some of the future episode titles for FlashForward, a few of which were corrections of titles reported earlier. The news isn’t huge, but since there’s obviously some thought put into the FlashForward episode titles it seems relevant to mention those titles when we have them





Episode 1.05 – “GIMME Some Truth”. After the Lennon song. Not “Give me…”
Episode 1.06 – “Scary monsters…” that was from me, the Bowie fan.
Episode 1.07 – THE GIFT
Episode 1.08 – “Playing Cards With Coyote” is the real title. Not sure where “Rules…” came from.
